About Me

Hi, I'm Shey! 

I'm a Tattoo Artist at Lunar Tattoo Studio in East Ridge, TN. I apprenticed under the shop owner, Meagan Dare. 

I've been an avid artist since childhood, and I got my B.S. in Digital Media - Character Animation in 2016 before finally pursuing my dream and starting my tattoo journey in 2023. I love to paint, sculpt, draw, do digital art, leather working, and any other crafty activities I can get my hands on.

When I'm not at the shop, you can usually find me listening to (mostly fantasy) audio books, spending time at the gym, playing video games or table-top games with my friends, doing a wide variety of crafts, watching an animated show, playing around in Excel, baking breads and desserts, or hanging out with my cat.

I don't have a specialization yet, so I'm happy to do almost any style of tattoo - within my capabilities - while I'm experimenting and feeling things out. However my favorite styles - and what I hope to eventually specialize in - are Color Illustrative and Black & Grey Realism.

I love all things cutesy, glittery, and colorful, as well as anything rich in fantasy, faerie tale and folklore themes, or mythological lore. Anime, video games, and classic cartoons also have a hold on my heart. 

My favorite media right now is Baldur's Gate 3, Sims 4, Delicious in Dungeon, Apothecary Diaries, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, Lord of the Rings, the Cosmere universe, and anything Studio Ghibli or Sanrio.
