About Me

Hi, I'm Shey! 

I'm a Junior Tattoo Artist at Lunar Tattoo Studio in East Ridge, TN. I apprenticed under the shop owner, Meagan Dare. 

I've been an avid artist since childhood, and I got my B.S. in Digital Media focusing on character animation before finally pursuing my dream and starting my tattoo journey. When I'm not at the shop, I love to play video games, listen to (mostly fantasy) audio books, play table-top games with my friends, do a wide variety of crafts, create custom Excel sheets, make breads and desserts, and hang out with my cat.

I don't have a specialization yet, so I'm happy to do almost any style of tattoo within my capabilities while I'm experimenting and feeling things out. However my favorite styles - and what I hope to eventually specialize in - are Color Illustrative and Black & Grey Realism.

I love all things cutesy, glittery, and colorful, as well as anything rich in fantasy, faerie tale and folklore themes, or mythological lore. Anime, video games, and classic cartoons also have a hold on my heart. My favorite media right now is Baldur's Gate 3, Sims 4, Delicious in Dungeon, Apothecary Diaries, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, Lord of the Rings, the Cosmere universe, He Who Fights With Monsters, and anything Studio Ghibli or Sanrio.
